Roots Youth Group
Teens in grades 7th through 12th can participate in Roots Youth Group.
Youth Group Meetings Schedule
Roots meetings are held on Sundays. For now, all meetings will be held through Zoom.
Roots teens meet weekly to discuss Christian educational topics. The teens actively participate in selecting topics for discussion. In the spring, we will cover topics to help teens prepare for Confirmation, which will take place during the Bishop's visit in May.
Trunk or Treat is the major service event for Roots each year. Children from the church and community are invited to come to Trunk or Treat to trick or treat from the trunks of our church member's vehicles. During this event, the teens help setup the event and run the carnival style games and manage the food. The teens will also do a variety of service events throughout the year including: stuffing socks for the homeless, running the Easter Egg Hunt, host a Bingo event for special needs teens and adults, and collecting canned goods for the Hill Country Food pantry. See the Calendar of Events for the full list of service events.
The Roots teens will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of social activities this school year. Some of the social events for this year are: hay maze, movie theater, ice skating, Main Street Bethlehem, and more. Check the Calendar of Events page.
To enjoy fun and fellowship with each other and all ages while learning about God and serving our community.
