Parents and members of the congregation are encouraged to attend the first 1 1/2 hours to learn about the prevention of child sexual abuse.  The is a great educational tool for everyone to help keep our precious children safe. 

 

All volunteers that work directly with our children and youth are required by the Episcopal Diocese of Texas to complete the full 3-hour course. All volunteers must also complete a background check as part of the application process.  

 

Christ Episcopal Church offers 3-4 onsite trainings throughout the year.
